In brief: Italy has opened its airports in the continental part of the country.

Today on Monday, April, 19, Europe begins to open its airspace for passenger flights. According to the data of Italian agency of civil aviation, the situation concerning cloud of volcanic ash is improving over the Northern regions of Italy and in the Southern Europe at all.

Thus Italy has opened its airports in the continental part of the country. Also all Austrian airports have renewed their work today in the morning.

Meantime all European air companies claim to review the ban to flights in European sky. Yesterday leading air companies including Lufthansa, British Airways, KLM, Austrian Airlines etc. made experimental flight through the most dangerous layers of the volcanic cloud. All flights were ended successfully and pilots did not face any problem.
