Iranian Navy tested antisubmarine torpedoes

Iran showed its navigation power

In brief: Tehran controls completely the navigation in its Southern waters and is ready to confront pirates and terrorists.

Navy of Iran conducted a successful test launch antisubmarine torpedoes in the Navy exercises in the Persian Gulf. This information was spread yesterday by rear-admiral Kasem Rostamabadi. The torpedoes are directed to tracking and destruction of enemy’s submarines.

Iranian Navy exercises were started on May, 5, in Hormuz. According to the words of Commander Habibollah Sayari, the exercises are to show to the enemies of Islamic Republic that Tehran controls completely the navigation in its Southern waters and is ready to confront pirates and terrorists but in the same time to show to other countries Iranian peacefulness.
