Director-General of JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) Jamie Dimon, speaking to the graduates of the University Sirakusa, expressed his confidence that the United States in the short term economic recovery, but the country’s future in the long term lies in the hands of a new generation.

Dimon, in 2009, named “Banker of the Year” one of the professional publications, often spoken out against some elements of the proposed U.S. Government’s reform of financial regulation. Bearing in mind the confrontation between the politicians and bankers, he told students: “This is normal, then at times we blame each other and angry with each other. We can not agree, when tarnished entire groups of people.” Last year, JPMorgan has opened at the University of Sirakusa Technology Center. The Bank offers a place interns students of this university. On Sunday, Dimon was awarded an honorary university degree.
