Airports in London renew flights

Britain opens its air space

In brief: Some limitations, however, still remain in “Heathrow” and “Gatwick” due to their closeness to the dangerous zone.

Airports in London are open again. British air space has been closed for 6 hours due to the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland. Now the concentration of ash in the atmosphere is very low, thus, flight can be renewed.

Remind that the largest airports of London “Heathrow”, “Gatwick” and “City” were closed last night. The ban on flights has been cancelled on 7.00 a.m. today. Some limitations, however, still remain in “Heathrow” and “Gatwick” due to their closeness to the dangerous zone. It will impact certain flights until at least 13.00.
