In brief: Для этой статьи не составлено краткого содержанияNow it’s unbelievable. The situation is more than unusual. Yesterday Britain and France committed to paying developing nations to combat global warming by calling for a 10-billion-dollar climate fund financed by rich countries. USA already has declared absurdity of this step.
But, Prime Minister Gordon Brown and President Nicolas Sarkozy, attending a closed-door Commonwealth summit in Trinidad, urged that the fund be adopted at climate talks to be held in Copenhagen December 7-18.
Brown said Britain would contribute 1.3 billion dollars over three years.
