In brief: The beginning of today’s session at the leading U.S. stocks was marked with the slight decrease in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the other U.S. indexes.

The beginning of today’s session at the leading U.S. stocks was marked with the slight decrease in the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the other U.S. indexes. During the first minutes of the trading the DJIA and the S&P 500 fell 0.19%, followed by the Nasdaq that lowered 0.25%.

The decrease of the indexes happened against the background of favorable macroeconomic statistics. Thus, the number of primary applications for unemployment last week decreased from 454 to 429 thousand as the decrease to only 450 thousand was expected. The quarterly report of JPMorgan Chase bank also turned out to be significantly better than expected. Most of the shares from the Dow Jones index opened the trading with the slight decrease, the Boeing shares being the only exception as they rose 1%. At the same time, the GE capitalization fell 0.5%, the Intel and the Kraft Foods capitalization decreased 0.7% and the IBM capitalization lowered 0.72%.
