The DJIA: best guesses – Red or Green?

The DJIA is trading with a small increase after the Friday's fall

In brief: The DJIA begin to increase slightly, recovering from the Friday's fall.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell prominently as the blue-chip indicator decreased approximately 261 points, being affected by the negative macroeconomic statistics and bank reports last Friday. The S&P 500 lowered to the 1,065 level at the end of Friday’s session.

The significant macroeconomic statistics aren’t expected today in the US. The investors’ attention will be aimed at the accountancies of such companies as Halliburton, IBM, Texas Instruments, Delta Air Lines, Hasbro and Frontier Financial. The accountancies of these companies will be published today though the exact time of their output is currently unknown. Recently the DJIA futures were trading with the 0.4% increase and the S&P 500 futures rose 0.3%.
