The US representative arrived in Pyongyang

Stephen Bosworth is going to meet North Korea leader to discuss the nuclear disarmament matter

In brief: The US envoy will try to persuade North Korea to come back to nuclear talks

Stephen Bosworth has arrived in Pyongyang, North Korea. During his three-day visit he will meet the country leader, Kim Jong Il and will try to convince him to return to the six-nation negotiations about the nuclear weapon.

Disarmament talks have been held between Japan, Russia, China, the United States and the two Koreas until North Korea quit the negotiations in April.

The North, offended by the international censure of its first nuclear test, refused to come back to nuclear talk up until now.
