The growth of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and other leading indexes is expected during the first half of today’s session at the US stocks. The reports of number of the companies appeared to be better than predicted and so affected the market. The DJIA opened the trading with the 0.06% increase, the S&P 500 grew 0.14% and the Nasdaq dropped 0.14%.

Among the companies from the Dow Jones index only Coca-Cola published its report so far. The report turned out to be better than analytics expected as the company’s net profit amounted $2.37 billion or $1.02 per share compared to the results of the previous year – $2.04 billion or 88 cents per share. The trading earnings grew to $8.67 billion compared to the $8.27 billion profit of the last year. The world Coca-Cola sales grew 5%. Among the companies from beyond the DJIA Top-30 the reports of Morgan Stanley also appeared to be better forecasts as the company’s net profit in the second quarter of the year amounted $1.96 billion or $1.09 per share compared to the last year decrease at the level of $149 million or $1.10 per share.
