In brief: India’s government agreed to create new separated state.India’s government agreed to create new separated state. It is to be called Telangana. Now it is a part of the southern Andhra Pradesh state.
Indian authorities have reached a comprimiose with protestors and invited the head of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti group K. Chandrasekhar Rao to hold negotiations in New Delhi. Ministers of Interior Palaniappan Chidambaram considered it the best solution of the situation in order to avoid violent conflicts with protestors.
The region of Telangana now has 119 representatives in Andhra Pradesh assembly and 42 seats in the parliament of India. Besides it has its own language dialect called Telegu.
