At the same time, FTSE 100 index was 5,380.87 points, losing -16.24 points (-0.30%) from the very beginning.

The European stock market trading had closed on a positive note yesterday. Anglo American added to the price of 4,06%, Antofagasta – 4,96%, BHP Billiton – 4,25%, Rio Tinto – 4,4%, and Xstrata – 5,86%. The British FTSE 100 index rose 139.09 points (2.65%) – up to 5,397.11 points, the German DAX – to 144.16 points (2.34%) – up to 6,292.13 points. The French CAC 40 – at 108.89 points (2.99%) and closed at 3,752.03 points, the Swiss SMI – to 120.86 points (1.95%) totaled 6,321.64 points, the Amsterdam AEX – at 9.02 points (2.73%) and amounted to 339.66 points. FTSEurofirst 300 index of blue chips rose 2.61% to 1,070.93 points.
