FTSE 100: GlaxoSmithKline (LON: GSK), Rio Tinto (LON: RIO) and Vedanta Resources (LON: VED) catch bearish trend

FTSE 100 Index is losing foothold

In brief: GlaxoSmithKline (LON: GSK), Rio Tinto (LON: RIO) and Vedanta Resources (LON: VED) continue to push the FTSE 100 index lower and lower.

The British stocks are weak enough today. GlaxoSmithKline plc (LON: GSK) is one of the few representatives of the UK stock market, which lose less than 1% today. GlaxoSmithKline is 1,167.50 points, losing -0.81%.

FTSE 100 index falling very quickly today. The British FTSE 100 close to the mark 5,297.84, reduced by -1.46% over the first hours of trading. Rio Tinto plc (LON: RIO) is the main outsider trading. Rio Tinto shares fell to 3,276.50 points, losing -111.00 (-3.28%). Vedanta Resources plc (LON: VED) can not stop the bearish trend. Vedanta drops below the mark of 2.407, losing -73.00 (-2.94%).The Open Knowledge analysts see the prospects for recovery of the market at the second half of today’s trading session.
