Windstream Corporation (NASDAQ: WIN) bought Q-Comm for $ 782 million

At the same time, Windstream Corporation (NASDAQ: WIN) goes down to 11.48 points, losing -0.01 (-0.09%). The telecommunication company has agreed to buy Q-Comm for $ 782 million. Thus, Windstream will issue 20.6 million stocks worth $ 237 million paying $ 278 million in cash. Windstream will also assume Q-Comm’s debt of $ 267 million. The purchase is aimed at enlargement of company’s capabilities in provisioning high-speed services using fiber-optic technologies to the government and businesses.
