Pakistan: terroristic bombing continues

Pakistani former minister has been killed in the latest attack

In brief: Series of terroristic bombing in Pakistan continue, taking lives of Pakistani officials.

Pakistani former minister Ghaniur Rehman has been killed this Sunday in a bomb explosion along with three other people. The bomb exploded on the roadside in Hangu district, blowing up ex-minister’s vehicle.

Few hours earlier another attack happened near the Bajaur, crushing the vehicle of anti-Taliban elders and killing two of them. According to the officials, another four have been critically wounded.

These two explosions could be considered as the aftermath of a terroristic attack, happening two days before at a sports event and taking lives of nearly hundred people. No group has yet claimed responsibility for any of the attacks.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has voiced his condemnation of these explosions and ordered an immediate inquiry, saying that any of these actions would not stop his government from fighting with terrorism.
