Israeli Prime Minister believes that the peace talks with Palestine could be resumed

Though it would take longer than two years

In brief: Israeli officials voice their opinions about Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assumes that Israel is able to resume peace talks with Palestine. According to his words to the Likud Knesset faction, Prime Minister believes that Israeli is determined about reaching a peace agreement. He has also said that since the formation of his government he persuaded the Palestinians to return to the negotiations.

Though Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman isn’t as confident as him, warning that it is unrealistic for two parties to reach an agreement in two years. He believes that the appropriate and open dialogue between Israel and Palestine shouldn’t be restricted by timetables because in the past they weren’t met and this caused violence.
