In brief: Now 30 years lasting friendship of two countries is confirmed by opened borders.

Syria and Iran have today concluded treaty on visa-free regime for their citizens. The negotiations have been held in Damask. Now 30 years lasting friendship of two countries is confirmed by opened borders.

The corresponding document has been signed by the ministers of foreign affairs of the countries Walid Muallem (Syria) and Manouchehr Muttaqi (Iran). The treaty on abolition of visas has been concluded in presence of the presidents of Syria Bashar Asad and of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
