Enormous iceberg is drifting from Antarctica

Huge iceberg is in ocean

In brief: The scientists say that the iceberg has been pushed out to the ocean by the other giant iceberg.

A huge iceberg has seceded from Merz glacier on Antarctica’s coast. It’s drifting to the South Ocean. Its square is the same to the territory of Luxembourg.

The square of the iceberg is about 2500 km2 – it is almost the territory of Luxembourg. Its length is about 79 km and width is 39 km. The scientists say that the iceberg has been pushed out to the ocean by the other huge iceberg. The representatives of Australian Antarctic Department and Cooperative Research Centre for the Study of climate change have warned that the appearance of such enormous iceberg can influence ocean currents.

    Please watch my video

It’s about climate change (extreme weather conditions), earth catastrophe and our planet as we lives in.
Recent Earth catastrophes – Continental Drift: One huge continent became 2 continents, then 5 (or 6) and then?

    Thank you.
