Karadzic is before trial again

Today the hearings on the case of the leader of Bosnian Serbs are renewed

In brief: Radovan Karadzic accused of 11 points including genocide and military crimes is before trial again with a long speech in his defense.

Today in Hague the lawsuit of Radovan Karadzic has started again. The leader of Bosnian Serbs arrested in July, 2006, has been being imprisoned to the jail of International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. 64 y.o. dictator is accused of military crimes and genocide during the war of 1992-1995 years. Prosecution supposes that in result of Karadzic’s politics 100 000 Croats and Muslims have been killed and more than 2 million people have been forced to leave their houses.

In general Radovan Karadzic is accused of 11 points. He however denies his guilt. The trial on Karadzic’s case started before in 2009 but the defendant didn’t visit any lawsuit. Today Radovan Karadzic has said that in that war Serbs defended there “right and the sacred cause”. The prosecutor of the Tribunal Serge Brammertz has left that speech without any comments.
