Stock markets cherish new hopes

By the end of the trading session, the MSCI Asia Pacific index grew by 1.47% to 756.82 points. Japan’s Nikkei 225 saw growth by 2.05% to 9301.32 points. China’s Shanghai Composite increased by 1.54%, while Taiwan’s Taiex went up by 0.78%. South Corea’s Kospi gained 0.70%. India’s Sensex grew by 1.86%.

Rio Tinto plc (NYSE: RTP) has collapsed after yesterday’s sharp rise as the FTSE 100 falls

Rio Tinto plc (ADR) (NYSE: RTP) rose to 54.65 points in the U.S.. Rio Tinto plc gained +2.73 points, or 5.26%. Company’s shares are reduced during pre-market up to 54.57, losing -0.15% today. At the same time, FTSE 100 index was 5,380.87 points, losing -16.24 points (-0.30%) from the very beginning.

Brazil bets on aluminum, as the prices rise

Aluminum prices began to rise. Brazil in May increased smelting aluminum by 1,4% compared to the same period in 2009, to 130,9 thousand tons. This was reported by the Brazilian Aluminum Association ABAL. However, the production of aluminum as a whole 5 months of this year decreased by 1.6% to 634.6 thousand tons.

The British FTSE 100 index fell by 79.74 points (-1.62%) – up to 4,837.13 points, the French CAC 40 – at 69.38 points (-2.02%) to 3373 , 51 points; German DAX – on 83,79 points (-1.4%) to 5,881.73 points, while the Swiss SMI dropped by 83.89 points (-1.37%) – up to 6044.1 points.

Dow Jones Industrial Average and S & P500 are near new collapse

Dow Jones Industrial Average was 10,465.21 points. Dow Jones Industrial tried to grow from the very beginning of trading, but after an hour began to fall in the level of 10,415.11 points. S & P500 reached the upper limits of the first line of resistance. Yesterday the U.S. stock market, something happened that we predicted a week ago. Moving in the uplink, index of wide market S & P500 touched the upper boundary of the zone of resistance at 1,130 points.

Alcoa helps the Dow Jones Industrial to avoid the collapse

The FTSE 100 advanced 0.7% today after China said it would soon allow more flexibility in the exchange rate of its national currency, which has been pegged to the US dollar for two years.

Dow Jones Industrial is approaching record high
