U.S. Department of Justice and the British energy company BP completed the process of negotiations to establish a fund volume of 20 billion dollars, the funds from which will go to damages in connection with the accident on the rig Deepwater Horizon platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

Dow Jones fell by 120 points (-1.19%), the index of Nasdaq – by 22.75 points (-1.24%), the index S & P – by 12,4 points (-1.16%). After yesterday’s fall of the U.S. stock market and the dramatic collapse of the Dow Jones Industrial Average at the end of trading, European markets opened in negative zone. Yesterday’s drop in Dow Jones Industrial Average was -40.73 points (-0.41%). Dow Jones index stood at 9899.25 points. Stock trading in Europe opened lower leading indexes amid fears about the worsening debt crisis in the region and developments in the Gulf of Mexico.

Dow Jones Industrial will fight for the slightest chance for growth in early trading. Dow Jones Industrial Average trading week starts with an uncertain future. On the one hand rising dollar and falling euro, on the other deplorable situation on the European stock markets gives confidence bears. Analysts believe that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will start the day with a fall, but after the wait statistics from the U.S.. Meanwhile, the stock trades in Europe on June 2st 2010 opened with decrease in leading indexes against the background of news from China, which were presented the latest statistics of China Federation of Logistics and Procurement for the purchasing managers index (PMI).

Stock trades in Europe on May 28 opened higher after the leading index for the U.S. market and Asia. USA markets closed a substantial increase in major stock indicators. The positive dynamics of quotations contributed declaration of the People’s Bank of China that Beijing will continue to invest in debt obligations of the euro zone, denying rumors circulated earlier by the restructuring of its gold reserves. In a statement leadership of the Chinese central bank indicated that the European market remains a key area of investment of the State foreign exchange control of China. These news continues to have a positive impact on share prices on European stock trading today.
