Volcano in Iceland continues to hamper air service in the UK. Icelandic volcanic ash covers the sky of Britain. Civil Aviation Authority of Britain has closed on Sunday to 17:00 BST on time for flights in the airspace of several parts of Northern Ireland.

Gulf of Mexico: collecting hair to absorb oil

The US social organization Matter of Trust has announced the collection of human hair and hair of domestic animals, which is used to make special material in order to absorb the oil, leaking to the Gulf of Mexico. There have already been gathered about 100 kg of hair from several countries including USA, Canada, Germany, Brazil, France and the UK.

Tornado in Oklahoma

Yesterday in the evening powerful tornado covered Southern and Central parts of the USA. In result, five people died in Oklahoma and 58 are wounded, nine of them are hospitalized in critical condition.

Earthquake in Indonesia: there is no threat of tsunami

The threat of tsunami is cancelled in Indonesia. The alarm was yesterday after the earthquake of 7.4 magnitude occurred near the island of Sumatra. Still there is no data about victims of the disaster. It is, however, known that the earthquake destroyed several houses and electricity connection.

Volcano in Iceland has sent new portion of ashes and dust

Volcano continues to make great problems for EU, that can’t be solved anyway. In some European countries once again extend a cloud of volcanic ash – from the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Hundreds of flights canceled in airports in Portugal, Spain and Germany. Disrupted as flights in France, Italy, closed some airports in Austria.

Volcano in Iceland closes new airports

Volcano is still alive. A new cloud of volcanic ash from Icelandic volcano continues to move towards Europe. Through the southern part of Switzerland it got to the Apennine peninsula. Italian authorities were forced to order the closure of airports in Milan, Pisa and Florence. The government promised to open them today, but everything will depend on how dangerous clouds will be.

Earthquake in Indonesia, which occurred the day before, could cause a tsunami. Magnitude of the past near the coast of Indonesia earthquake exceeded magnitude 7.4 – was told by seismologists. A tsunami that may occur as a result of the earthquake is a threat not only for Indonesia but also for Malaysia.

The volcano in Iceland woke up and paralyzed Europe

Volcanic eruption in Iceland continues to pose major challenges for Europe, more precisely ash and volcanic dust threatens Old World. Thus, Italy has closed nearly every airport in the northern part of the country until 12:00 local time. Authorities in Scotland announced the termination of flights of six airports.
