Currency exchange rate today: weak euro, pound, strong yen and crazy dollar

Currency exchange rate remains susceptible to numerous risks today. Growth shows only yen. The euro against the dollar amounted to $ 1.2376 from $ 1.2389 the evening of June 17 in New York. Euro dollar yielded 0.1%. Dollar / yen was 90.65 against 91.01 the previous evening. The euro / yen reached 112.12 against 112.75. The yen was added 0.4% on the American and 0,6% against the euro. Course pounds to the dollar to $ 1.4794 from $ 1.4824 on Thursday. The euro to the pound was 0.8364 against 0.8356.

President of Russia predicts the collapse of euro in the nearest future

The gas war: Russia leaves Belarus without heating

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev instructed the head of Gazprom to Belarus for five days to address the issue of repayment of debts for Russian gas. “In accordance with the terms of the contract, we have every reason to reduce the volume of gas deliveries to Belarus in proportion to debt owed to Gazprom – said Alexei Miller met with the president of Russia.

Ukraine wants Russia to return the 23 billion dollars from the Fund of the USSR

First of all the new President of Ukraine will visit Europe

The new President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich his first foreign visit in the new status will make to Brussels. The real date of the visit is not officially published yet but previously it is known that it is planned on March, 1. The European authorities are now looking for the inauguration of Victor Yanukovich on February, 25, after which they will ensure officially meetings.

NATO asks Russia for free aid

His visit is to be 2 day long lasting and is supposed to include meetings with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, the Head of Parliament Boris Gryzlov and the Head of Ministry of Interior Sergey Lavrov.
