Tsunami in the Pacific: emergency is declared

Waves of 1.5-2.5 m high have covered several towns on Chile coast. According to the data of Tsunami Warning Centre in the Pacific, tsunami has already reached 11 towns of Chile including Kokimbo, Valparaiso, Talcahuano, Concepcion and Santiago.

Earthquake in the Pacific: tsunami is coming

Tsunami in the Pacific Ocean has started due to the underwater earthquake near Chile coast. Enormous tide 3 m high has just covered the island of Robinson Crusoe in the Juan Fernandez archipelago. People are being evacuated to the hills of Easter Island.

Earthquake near Chile coast: there is a threat of tsunami

Today in the morning powerful earthquake has occurred on the coast of Chile. The magnitude of the shakes has been 8.8 balls. The US Geological Service (USGS) reports that the earthquake has started from the ocean near Chile coast 320 km far from Santiago.

TOP 30 most environmentally polluted cities

The Economist Intelligence Unit center introduced the rating of 30 most environmentally polluted cities. The ratings were set according to the level of carbon (due to traffic jams and industry), use of energy, transport, quality of water and air, waste recycling and ecological politics.
