Lloyds Banking Group and Royal Bank of Scotland climb higher today

Lloyds tsb bank plc rises above confidently. European stock market closed with slight drop in the leading index. Against this background, the banking sector, a multidirectional dynamics of quotations. Shares of British Barclays and HSBC went up by 0,23% and 0,24% respectively. Securities Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group cheaper respectively 0,34% and 0,57%. In addition, decreased quotes the French Societe Generale (-0,69%) and Credit Aricole (-1,07%), while BNP Paribas shares went up by 0.17%. Germanic Deutsche Bank on the basis of exchange session went into the “red zone” (-1.38%).

Bulgaria falsified statistics

Bulgaria fell under suspicion of European officials. Revision of budget statistics of European countries continues. Yesterday, under suspicion of falsification of data hit Bulgaria. The European Union announced its doubts about the veracity of budgetary data of the country, in this connection in Sofia will send the appropriate committee to conduct an audit.

Estonia is in danger of default construction

In I quarter of the total value of construction works completed in Estonia decreased by 46,4% from the previous quarter. In comparison with I quarter 2009 decline of the indicator was 40%. At the same time in the segment of building construction volume decreased by 40,6%, and in the segment of infrastructure – on 38,9%, according to a report of the Estonian Statistical Office.

The future of euro and the European Union

The European Commission recommends the adoption of Estonia in the eurozone, as the country has fulfilled all necessary conditions for the transition to the euro. The final decision on the adoption of Estonia in the eurozone will be made on July 6.
