Icelandic volcanic eruption re-creates a new transport problem for many countries in Europe. British meteorologists reported that a second cloud of volcanic dust headed towards Europe and may soon appear over northern Germany, on the part of Denmark and Sweden. Cloud will be a narrow strip of territory in Poland and make it to Eastern Europe.

Volcano in Iceland: air communication in Europe is going to be completely restored today

According to the official statement of the Eurocontrol organization, the air communication in Europe is going to be restored completely today. This Wednesday 22, 5 thousands of the flights were performed all over the Europe while the average number of the flight per day is 28 thousands, so it is expected that the flights in Europe are going to be restored almost to 100 percent today.

Volcano in Iceland changed all the plans of ordinary passengers and VIP guests. They all are changing plans because of the volcanic eruption in Iceland. For example, Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel was unable to return home. Her plane was flying from the U.S. to Germany, but was forced to change its route from behind the clouds of volcanic ash. As a result, Merkel airline landed in Lisbon instead of the planned landing in Berlin.
