Dow Jones is looking for new highs after a long weekend

Rate of the European currency continues to fall, the EU is trying to help

The rate of the single european currency are trying to save. The euro exchange rate over the past few days has collapsed to a record low. “General mobilization” to “reflect the attack on the euro” was announced by the country euro zone. This was explained by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, following a crisis summit of Heads of State and Government of 16 countries of the EU, united by a common currency.

Karadzic is before trial again

Today in Hague the lawsuit of Radovan Karadzic has started again. The leader of Bosnian Serbs arrested in July, 2006, has been being imprisoned to the jail of International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. 64 y.o. dictator is accused of military crimes and genocide during the war of 1992-1995 years. Prosecution supposes that in result of Karadzic’s politics 100 000 Croats and Muslims have been killed and more than 2 million people have been forced to leave their houses.

Turkish officers’ case: three persons are justified

Yesterday on February, 25, high Criminal Court of Istanbul ordered the release of three retired officers of Turkish military forces. This decision has defused tensions between Turkish Government and General Staff.

Catalonia voted for its independence

The region of Catalonia tends to become independent. On Sunday, December, 13 the unofficial referendum was held. The residents of Catalonia voted for separating their region from Spain.
