The DJIA fell to mark 10,588.70 points, losing -110.05 (-1.03%). Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) had caught a bear. Bank of America shares fell to 13.73 points, losing -1.26% since the start of trading.

Collapse – DJIA keeps falling down despite the promising start

Stock trades in the U.S. on July 2 opened with mostly high leading indexes. Dow Jones index gained about 0,45% at the very beginning of the trading, but soon Dow Jones Industrial Average has collapsed rapidly. DJIA has 9,642.43 points at the momets, the losses are – 90.10 points or -0.93%/. The market during the trading session apparently tries to win back losses of the previous day, which were caused by unfavorable economic statistics. However, statistics provided today is encouraging on the contrary. The U.S. stock trading in total is on a favorable external background: trading sites in Europe opened in plus, the Japanese Nikkei fell only slightly.

DJIA collapse: crisis before restoration or the beginning of the end?

DJIA can restore a week of falls in one day – report the Open Knowledge analysts. A series of avalanches of various U.S. markets prompted investors to grab the head. Falling Dow Jones Industrial Average was quite unexpected, although the week continues with a flow of negative news. Specialists are in different assessments of the situation – some believe that panic is not worth it, others hold a another opinion.

Dow Jones Industrial climbs higher after overcoming a threat of collapse

Dow Jones Industrial Average managed to correct the situation that prevailed in early trading and moved to the green zone. Growth Dow index continues. Dow Jones Industrial Average was 10,187.72 points, the index gained 43.91 points (0.43%) today. Trading session on Friday ended with falling of the European indices by 1%.

Oil prices today: black gold is going cheaper

Oil prices go into the minus. Quotes of the oil market on Thursday, June 17 on the basis of trades were closed with a decrease in value against the release of negative economic data. On the New York Stock Exchange New York Mercantile Exchange price of July futures for petroleum of mark Light Sweet decreased by 0.88, or 1.1%, and its price was 76.79 dollars per barrel.
