Currency exchange rate today: euro falls, dollar is rising, pound is at a standstill

Private markets in the U.S. and the UK provided an excellent atmosphere of tranquility and lazy fluctuations in the currency market. Of course, the absence of a large number of players could lead to high volatility, but nothing like this has happened, except for the weakening of the yen in response to political developments in Japan. Nevertheless, we expect that in the near future the dollar will retain its status as the most popular currencies, given the uncertainty about global economic prospects.

Obama and Netanyahu did not succeed in negotiations

Israeli Prime Minister believes that the peace talks with Palestine could be resumed

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assumes that Israel is able to resume peace talks with Palestine. According to his words to the Likud Knesset faction, Prime Minister believes that Israeli is determined about reaching a peace agreement. He has also said that since the formation of his government he persuaded the Palestinians to return to the negotiations.

Gaza War: the conflict continues

This night Israeli bombers have bombed Gaza territory. The pursuit-planes F-16 have fired missiles straight to the two tunnels on the border of Gaza and Egypt used for smuggling weapons. According to the information four people have got injuries. Eyewitnesses say that also two shots have been made by Israeli tanks.

Jerusalem: EU and US differ in opinion

EU softened its demand for the East Jerusalem to become the capital of the Palestinian state after facing Israeli objections. On Tuesday, EU foreign ministers called back their requirement, saying that the East Jerusalem should become the future capital of the two states.
