Ukraine’s foreign debt stands at $ 40 billion. Ukraine’s foreign debt reached $ 40 billion, representing 36% of the GDP of the country, told the Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Tigipko. “This figure is for us is critical. We will be very difficult to maintain this level of debt” – he acknowledged.

EBRD craves new blood

Shareholders of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) decided to increase the bank’s capital by 50% and thus pave the way for increased investment in the Bank over the next 5 years. The future of euro and the European Union

Exchange rates: EU saves euro

Euro can be saved. EU finance ministers are close to reaching an agreement on the establishment of a stabilization fund of the EU. This is a diplomatic source said on the sidelines of an emergency meeting of finance ministers of the EU. “There is a fundamental understanding, but it remains to agree on a number of details”, – said the source. He did not say whether there had been to obtain the consent of Great Britain to participate in the European Stabilization Fund.

The heads of 11 states will take part in the inauguration of the new President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich which is to be held tomorrow on February, 25. According to the information given by the Minister of foreign affairs Petr Poroshenko, their participation has confirmed the heads of 11 states, heads of 4 international organizations, 15 ministers of foreign affairs and heads of 4 parliaments.

Romania accepted the location of the US antimissile system on its territory

Romania agreed to locate on its territory the elements of the US new antimissile defense. This statement was declared by the President Traian Basescu. This new system is planned to be started in 2015. Romania got the official propositions of the US President Barack Obama on cooperation in this program. Thus on Romanian territory the interceptors medium-range will be located.
