Volcano in Iceland continues to actively spewing magma, but airlines have dared to resume the flights. Sheremetyevo International Airport said the resumption of flights to a number of areas that were previously canceled due to the closure of airspace in Europe.

Volcanic eruption in Iceland holds in suspense the whole world, especially the problem concerned with the Europeans. Flights canceled, many airports are closed, there were problems with the satellite signal and communication. Volcano in Iceland became one of the greatest disasters in new century.

Volcanic eruption in Southern Iceland will not have a major impact on the climate of our planet, – reported at the Laboratory of the theory of climate behalf of the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences Obukhov (IFARAN). Meanwhile, flights in Northern and Central Europe will be restored until Sunday night. This forecast gives the European Association for Aviation Safety Eurocontrol. The situation is unlikely to change over the coming days.

Ukrainian Ministry of foreign affairs reports that General Consulate of Ukraine in Istanbul has today been armed attacked. Fortunately, there are no victims and the attacker is arrested.

Powerful earthquake has today occurred in Turkey in Elazig province. According to the official data of the Ministry of health protection, there are 51 persons dead and 34 wounded. All victims are local citizens. The governor of the province Muammer Erol ensures that there have already been no more people under the blockages.

The heads of 11 states will take part in the inauguration of the new President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich which is to be held tomorrow on February, 25. According to the information given by the Minister of foreign affairs Petr Poroshenko, their participation has confirmed the heads of 11 states, heads of 4 international organizations, 15 ministers of foreign affairs and heads of 4 parliaments.
