Exchange rate today: U.S. will rise to new highs

Exchange rates once again in the power of the U.S. dollar. Dollar starts a new Marathon growth today. The level of support for the U.S. currency becomes the new pyadestal. The euro exchange rate updates at least weekly at around 1.21 dollar per euro. Also note the sharp decline of the Russian ruble to the month of anti-record.

Gasoline prices continue to rise in Ukraine

June 16 came into force Act № 6337 “On amendments to some legislative acts (in terms of taxation), which provides for an increase in excise duty on petroleum products. Higher fiscal burden of oil traders are already embedded in retail prices, thereby shifting the problem onto the shoulders of consumers. In the short term fuel will continue to go up under the pressure of world trends.

Gold price declines sharply in India today and the forecast for gold prices

Gold price fell sharply reduced during the day in India. Today gold price in India was lower than on the global markets for 5-7 dollars per ounce. The debt crisis in the eurozone pushed investors to invest in gold, which led to an increase in purchase of gold coins and ingots on the world market, as well as to higher prices of stock exchange index funds, secured this precious metal. Gold reserves of the largest fund SPDR Gold Trust reached a record 1,200 tonnes, valued at 46.88 billion dollars.

Currency exchange rates: the forecast for summer 2010

Currency exchange rates in Ukraine in the last few months don’t pleases speculators. Forecast for the summer is quite positive only for the dollar. Summer is a period of currency volatility. Thus, at least you can say about the former Soviet republic. The rate of national currency in third world countries are always stronger, oddly enough, it was summer. The euro exchange rate in the hot days accustomed to fall. In summer time people are looking for relaxation, and hence save money in the single European they do not want to.

Ukrainian banks can’t earn on the difference in exchange rates

Hryvnia has remained stable against the U.S. dollar. At the same time in the last three months the rate is kept at a level below 8 UAH / USD. Exchange rate fluctuations are almost invisible, in May, the value of the course thrilled at around 7,92-7,93 UAH / USD. In such circumstances, banks are almost lost one of the main sources of income – income from foreign exchange.

Ukraine is on the verge of default

Former Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk considers that Ukraine could follow the path of Greece because of high levels of public debt and budget deficit. “The world is emerging from crisis. That dash that existed have been overcome. The key is the banking sector. As for Ukraine, we are now further than a year ago. 16% of GDP – the budget deficit, the debt of Ukraine – 36%. Therefore, because public debt, we can not avoid the Greek decision. Society needs an honest dialogue “, – said V. Pinzenyk.

The debt crisis in Europe have affected business

European Business Association (EBA), with over 750 companies, mainly from the western capital, yesterday announced the results of evaluation of its members of the first 100 days of the new government. The actions of the Cabinet were evaluated on seven criteria: overcoming corruption, judicial reform, land reform, currency regulation, compensation for VAT, customs procedures, technical barriers to trade.

Ukrainian real estate becomes cheaper

According to Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction of Dmitry Isayenko, now up to 50% of the cost of housing are taxes and numerous deductions authorities. New affordable housing program will substantially reduce these costs, as provided for free transfer of land by local authorities for construction of residential houses, as well as summarizing communications to them by the State. The changes made to the draft Law on the Provision of affordable housing in Ukraine, which has already been reviewed in the first reading.

Azarov raises tax on wages in Ukraine

The Government has approved a draft law on the Tax Code of Ukraine. In the Cabinet of Ministers insist that proposed innovations provide a balance of interests between government and business. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that the draft provided for the reduction of national taxes from 29 to 17.
