The volcano in Iceland woke up and paralyzed Europe

Volcanic eruption in Iceland continues to pose major challenges for Europe, more precisely ash and volcanic dust threatens Old World. Thus, Italy has closed nearly every airport in the northern part of the country until 12:00 local time. Authorities in Scotland announced the termination of flights of six airports.

Volcano in Iceland: cloud of volcanic ash covered Far East of Russia

Khabarovsky meteorology center representative has announced that the cloud of volcanic ash, which was formed after the eruption of volcano in Iceland and is covering entire Europe, has already reached Yenisei river. Soon it will reach the Far East of Russia. Nevertheless, population is not endangered; Khabarovky airport will continue its work according to the normal schedule.

Volcano in Iceland covered Siberia with ashes

Plume of ash covered the volcano in Iceland, Novosibirsk, Tomsk region and Altai. A cloud of volcanic ash will reach the Far East 20-22 April. “April 20-21, one of the hotbeds of pollution, which shift from west to east along the coast of the Arctic Ocean to reach the Far Eastern Federal Districts. Concentrations of ash range from 0,01 to 0,001 mg per cubic meter of air.
