Egypt succeeds in returning its antiques

Great Britain is ready to return to Egypt 25 000 of antiques. This result has been reached after long lasting negotiations. These artifacts of the period from Stone Age to seventh millennium BC are to be exhibit in the Museum of Ahmed Fehri now being built in the oasis Dahla.

30 000 antiques have been returned to Egypt since 2002. In April Egypt is going to hold international conference on artifacts’ returning where representatives of 30 countries are already invited. Quite much Egyptian artifacts are kept in British museum.
