Bad data came from the U.S. automotive market: Ford Motor Company is planning to suspend the provision of discounts in Europe, despite the loss of market share in this region and the ending of “cash for old car.” According to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association, the share of Ford Motor in the European market dropped to 8.7% in the first five months of 2010 from 9,0% a year earlier.
