Baghdad bombing: Al-Qaeda admitted responsibility

The Islamic State of Iraq says that such terroristic acts are going to continue

In brief: The Al-Qaeda branch claimed responsibility for the Baghdad bombing, considered to be the third such powerful terroristic act in Iraq since August.

The Iraqi military organization linked to the al-Qaeda took responsibility for terroristic bombing in Baghdad.

The claim was posted by “The Islamic State of Iraq” on one of the radical websites. Terrorists also warned that such acts will continue until Iraq returns to monotheism, accepting the Shariath.

The series of terroristic acts happening on Tuesday took lives of 127 people total. Over 500 people have been injured and a number of municipal building, cultural objects and houses have been damaged. This bombing is considered to be the third such powerful attack since August.

Lieutenant General Abboud Qanbar, Baghdad’s top military commander, has been dismissed after the bombing for inability to avert the acts.
