Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) dominance in the global Internet search market deteriorated in the second quarter, researchers reported analytical and consulting company Strategy Analytics. The share of the internet giant has fallen to 69,7% against 71,1% quarter earlier. “Yield Google search business slows down, as in Western countries, the market reaches maturity, and the corporation is attempting to gain a foothold in the Asian countries”, – said Martin Olausson, Strategy Analytics expert. “The company is forced to seek new revenue to offset the slowdown in the growth of search engine. Due to the problems of Google in China and the overall growth of the Chinese market Baidu increased its presence to 4,6%.
