Thus, Windstream will issue 20.6 million stocks worth $ 237 million paying $ 278 million in cash. Windstream will also assume Q-Comm’s debt of $ 267 million. The purchase is aimed at enlargement of company’s capabilities in provisioning high-speed services using fiber-optic technologies to the government and businesses.
