DJIA lost foothold, while Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) and Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) climb

The Dow Jones Industrial fell down after a climb

In brief: The banking sector and oil companies continue to rise today. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is between the green and the red zones, not finding a foothold. Bank of America and Chevron are climbing persistently.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was unable to hold on to the green zone and gradually went decreasing. At the same time, Bank of America Corporation (NYSE: BAC) shares rose to 13.02 points, gaining +1.20%.

Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) climbed up to 75.56 points, taking with Bears +0.51 (0.68%). The U.S. stock market remains calm. Players are no longer anticipating for Ben Bernanke’s speech and the revised second quarter GDP data for the U.S. Thursday or Friday. It is expected the GDP will decrease by 2,5% to 1,5%. Most likely, these events won’t spark optimism with bidders, taking into account the expected negative data on new home sales and unemployment.
