In brief: The Supreme Court of Thailand has admitted that $1,4 million were got illegally.

The Supreme Court of Thailand has today sentenced the ex-Prime-minister Thaksin Shinawatra to the confiscation of $1,4 million which have been admitted to be got illegally. It is more than a half of all money actives of Shinawatra.

The court has established that Shinawatra gave the telecommunication companies which were handled by him unmerited preferences. It caused the increasing of their benefits and capitalization. Shinawatra in his turn has denied those charges ensuring that has not violated any law while acting as the Prime-minister.
