During those hostilities known as the Operation Cast Lead the Israeli military forces destroyed the UN’s storage buildings, schools and transport in Gaza. And now Israel has to compensate the international organization those damages.

This night Israeli bombers have bombed Gaza territory. The pursuit-planes F-16 have fired missiles straight to the two tunnels on the border of Gaza and Egypt used for smuggling weapons. According to the information four people have got injuries. Eyewitnesses say that also two shots have been made by Israeli tanks.


Protests in Cairo continue

After mass demonstrations and a hunger strike, the Cairo protest leaders accepted the offer of Egyptian government to allow 100 protesters to cross the Gaza border. Though it’s quite a small quantity, considering that the number of protesters surpasses thousand, the demonstration leaders still consider it a partial victory. According to them, such offer is a sign of progress in Gaza problem, because earlier Egypt didn’t allow any of the protesters to enter the blockaded city.
