Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) is 11.64, the total loss of close to -0.07 or -0.64% at the end of the U.S. stock market trades. Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) began trading in the green zone, but lost the support arm in an hour. The DJIA is reduced as well.

The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) was 28.33 points yesterday. Bad reports and Dow Chemical lower profit decreased interest in buying. Pre-market closed at 26.69, The Dow Chemical Company shares lost -5.79%.

Xstrata PLC (LON: XTA) shares are not out of the Green Zone today. Xstrata PLC is 1,084.50 points, gaining +9.50 points (0.88%). Xstrata today approved an investment of 4,2 billion euros for the implementation of Las Bambas copper project in the region of Apurimac in Peru.

Italian airline Alitalia has joined the new venture on transatlantic traffic, created in 2009, the largest European airline Air France-KLM Group and the American Delta Air Lines. After joining the Italian company will provide up to 26% of all transatlantic traffic, which will achieve an annual revenue of more than $ 10 billion, according to a report released today Air France.

Asian stock markets on Wednesday, June 16, rose to 4-week high against the background of commodity prices, the outcome of trading in the U.S., as well as the positive macroeconomic data, the U.S. and China. It should be recalled, that trading in the U.S. on Tuesday ended the growth of stock indices. Among investors’ growing belief that Europe will be able to cope with problems in its economy.

Dow Jones Industrial Average loses a lot and gains a little. Dow Jones is growing very slowly, but drops very quickly. Bulls are in no hurry to increase trading volumes today. Volumes of production of primary aluminum in the U.S. in March 2010 compared with February 2009 increased by 12,3% to 146 thousand tons. This is according to the U.S. Geological Survey. At the same time, at an annual rate issue “winged” the metal in the country decreased by 5,2%.
