French Navy has captured 35 Somali pirates while two-day lasting patrols of the aquatory close to Somali coast. It is considered to be the most successful anti-pirates operation since the beginning of Atalanta operation on December, 2008.
Somali pirates have today released fishing boat Thai Union-3 with more than 20 Russians onboard seized in October 2009. The boat has been released for ransom.

The tanker called St. James Park was under the British flag but was sailing from Spain to Thailand. The crew of the ship includes 26 persons from eight countries. The ship was seized without any fire shots.
Pirates attacked the cargo ship navigating under the Antigua and Barbuda flag near Oman shore. The ship was floating from Togo.
Piracy is going to be reduced. Apple corporation has recently required William Alsup who is to plead the case against piracy company injunction to the activity of Psystar.
The pirates continue hijacking near the Somali coast and the accidents of such seizures increases rapidly. The international operations to counteract maritime piracy have reduced the number of seizures but haven’t excluded them. Thus yesterday the pirates succeed in seizure of tanker near the Seychelles.
