The DJIA ceases to grow steadily after the results of stress tests. Calling the results of stress tests bad we can not, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.10% growth. The DJIA is a mark of 10,400.02, gaining 77.72 points (0.75%). So, seven European banks have not been stress-tests conducted to confirm the stability of the banking system of the EU.

Customers provide substantial assistance to U.S. Stock Market and the Dow Jones Industrial Average in early trading. Bidding for major U.S. markets start with a small increase of the stock indices. Dow Jones Industrial index opened in positive territory at 0.24% on a mark of 10,167.84 points, S & P 500 rose by 0.23% to 1,079.24 points, Nasdaq Composite Index added 0.18% to 2,227.44 points.

China and Europe had forced Dow Jones Industrial for further declining. Dow Jones Industrial Average was 10,123.40 points. The level of incidence Dow index has exceeded -20.41 (-0.20%). Analysts say trading on the major U.S. markets will open with a slight increase in stock indexes. Futures on the Dow traded with an increase of 0,06%, S & P 500 – on 0,12%, Nasdaq – on 0,16%.

Poland finished voting in the presidential election. A few hours ago in the country have closed the polls. Soon will the preliminary voting results. Turnout was more than 40 percent. That is voted about 12 million people. In the struggle for the highest office in the Polish Republic, involving 10 candidates.

Elections of the President in Poland are finishing… Poland at 6:00 am local time, started fifth in the recent history of presidential elections, which will be attended by approximately 30,5 million inhabitants. Weather does not help voter turnout – according to the Institute of Meteorology forecasts, rain is expected and gusty wind.

Increase of direct foreign investment in Russia and Poland will increase significantly in 2010 following a reduction of revenue in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe in 2009 by half, predicts Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (WIIW).

French banks BNP Paribas and Societe Generale are interested in applying for the acquisition of 70 per cent stake in Polish bank Zachodni, which exposes for sale by Allied Irish Bank. It is reported by the French edition of La Tribune.

Flood in Poland led to the deaths of 12 people. According to the Government, police and rescue services have been translated into a stronger version of service. Authorities used helicopters and boats for transporting people from the zone of natural disasters.

Shareholders of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) decided to increase the bank’s capital by 50% and thus pave the way for increased investment in the Bank over the next 5 years. According to the official documents of the Bank, this decision was made against the most serious a recession in the regional economy since the “fall of communism.” Board of Directors approved an increase in bank capital in the context of full compliance with the EBRD’s strategy for the period 2011-2015.
