On Sunday, May 9, Indonesia experienced a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.4. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 220 kilometers south-east of Banda Aceh, located on the island of Sumatra. Immediately after the earthquake Indonesia meteorologists reported threat of a tsunami announced.
